Under military rule in Brazil, the government censored the lyrics to over 13,000 songs.
And the censors' archives were only recently opened up to the public.
By then, many of the artists they silenced had passed away without ever being able to record their compositions.
Among them was one of the greatest samba singers in history: Gonzaguinha.
